The Reason Why You Should Avoid Eating A Banana For Breakfast

Nutritionists say that even though bananas seem like the perfect fast breakfast, in fact, they’re not. If you eat only bananas, they are not the best option, because they contain 25 percent sugar, and fall into the group of moderately acidic foods. Also, this fruit does not have enough protein.

The best way to start your day is to have a breakfast that’ll help you burn fat and supply you with enough energy for the day. Right until your next meal. Even though bananas will give you a short burst of energy, you’ll quickly begin to feel tired and hungry. They are more suited for a snack than a whole meal. Thus, eating a banana in the morning is not enough to properly start the day.

But, if you combine the banana with other foods, full of healthy fats, you’ll be able to overcome the problem with fatigue and hunger. For example, you can add up an avocado or peanut butter, and some sweet spices, like cinnamon and vanilla. Since the banana fruit belongs to the group of acidic foods, the acid needs to be neutralized. Neutralizing the acid, you’ll be able to exploit the good benefits of the banana, such as the potassium, magnesium and fiber.
