Did you know that there’s a sleeping calculator, based on medical calculation, formulas and data, which can tell you the exact time when you should go to sleep, if you want to wake up rested? This way, you’ll be able to stabilize your natural biorhythm and wake up easier in the morning.

Sleep Calculator: How To Calculate The Time When You Should Go To Sleep

Instead on the number of hours spent sleeping, this calculator is based on the cycles of sleep. During the night, in normal sleep duration, each human passes through 5 or 6 sleep cycles. Each cycle lasts up to 90 minutes. And, if the alarms wakes you up in the middle of a sleep cycle, you’ll be tired all day long.

The math goes like this. If, for example, you need to get up at 7 am, you need to fall asleep from 09:46 pm to 11:16 pm. However, if you’re still awake pass these hours, then you should go to bed at 00:46 am, or 02:16 am.

If you get up at 6 in the morning, the right time for you to go to bed is at 08:46, 10:16 and 11:46 pm. But, if you skip these terms, then the next time is at 01:16 am.

If you need to get up at 08 o’clock in the morning,  you must be in bed by 10:46 pm, 00:16, 01:46 or 03:16 am.

Are you one of those people who don’t get up in a full hour, but for example at 06:35 am? If so, you should find the sleep calculator online. This way, you can check when you should go to sleep. If you need to wake up at 06:35, then you should fall asleep at 09:21 or 10:21 pm, or at 00:21 or 01:51 am.

The calculator estimates that people in average need 14 minutes to fall asleep naturally. Hence, there’s no need for you to be in bed in those exact minutes.
