Oatmeal

Oat has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It soothes the skin and reduces the redness. Mix one half of a cup of oatmeal flakes and a quarter cup of water in a large bowl. Apply this mixture to the affected parts of the skin. Spread the flakes over the skin, but do not rub the skin. Leave it to stand for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water, and dry the skin with a soft cloth. Repeat this treatment twice a day for several days for the best results.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a very popular plant for treating many skin conditions. It contains apigenin which has a soothing effect on the skin. This plant also protects the skin from UV radiation due to antioxidant content. Dip three to six tea bags of chamomile in three cups of boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove the bags and place the bowl in the fridge until the liquid cools down. Dunk a cotton pad in the cool chamomile tea and drain the excess fluid. Place the damp cotton pad on the affected area for 15 minutes. Repeat this treatment three or four times a day until you notice an improvement.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers have high water content and cooling properties, which makes them suitable to help you ease the rosacea symptoms. They contain vitamin C, which is an antioxidant. They also have a lot of vitamin K that is also an antioxidant. When these vitamins are combined, they provide protection against UV radiation and premature aging. Cut one cucumber into slices and make a paste from it using a blender. In the cucumber paste, add 3 teaspoons of yogurt, and then apply this mask to the skin. Leave to dry and absorb 30 – 45 minutes. Rinse with cold water and dry your skin with a soft towel.

Aloe vera

What makes this plant great for facial care is not only retained water in the leaves, but many active ingredients found in it. There are about 75 of them, and they are various vitamins, minerals, sugars, enzymes, and acids. They all have a beneficial and nourishing effect on the skin, that’s it’s why this plant is highly recommended for rosacea. Just scoop the gel of the aloe vera leaves and apply it on the affected place. Moreover, you can place this gel in the fridge to cool and then apply it on your face. Repeat the procedure twice a day for visible results.
