Matcha Tea Has 10 Times More Antioxidants Than Green Tea
Macha is a type of green tea coming from Japan, traditionally drank as a tea or used as an ingredient in various meals. While other green teas are grown throughout the whole world, this tea is only cultivated in Japan. Macha tea is the heart of the tea ritual in Japan, which has been celebrated in the traditional tea ceremony for centuries.
This tea is naturally rich in antioxidants (catechins), vitamins A, B6, C and K, and minerals like magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, zinc and copper. It boosts metabolism, improves mood, reduces blood pressure and acts as a natural detox.
Matcha’s health benefits are higher when measured to the benefits of other green teas, because matcha drinkers ingest the whole leaf, not just the infused water. As we mentioned above, this tea is rich in antioxidants, it is great in fight against cancer, burns fats and much more.
A cup of matcha is equivalent to ten cups of green tea, in terms of its antioxidant contents and nutritional value.
If you’re not much of a tea drinker, you can use matcha in your recipes, to get the recommended daily dose. There are many meals and drinks that incorporate matcha; from healthy popcorns, to delicious donuts, to chocolate matcha cups and the list goes on.
Here we present you a recipe of how to incorporate matcha in your daily diet, to help you boost your metabolism to its maximum. You can drink this sweet delight instead of your morning coffee, or midday tea.
