How To Healing Turmeric Tea

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Grated 1-inch ginger root
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 lemongrass tea bag
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 1/6 tsp. of ground black pepper

Preparation:

First, heat the water in a small pot. Next, in it add the grated ginger, turmeric powder, the ground black pepper, cinnamon, and salt. Let the liquid simmer for 10-15 minutes. When it’s done remove it from the stove, and put the lemongrass tea bag in it. You can add a couple of orange slices as well. Leave the mixture to stand for 3 minutes, and then remove the tea bag and the orange slices. Transfer the liquid to a mug and drink it right away while it’s still hot.

If you like you can sweeten your drink with a teaspoon of honey, maple syrup, and coconut sugar or agave syrup. You can combine turmeric tea with apple silences or add lemon juice and coconut oil in it. Maybe it sounds weird, but turmeric tea goes along with cucumber slices.
