How To Make Turmeric Gummy Bears
For this recipe you will need:
- One teaspoon of ground turmeric
- Three and a half cups of water
- Eight tablespoons of gelatin powder or agar-agar powder (if you are vegan)
- Six tablespoons of maple syrup or organic honey
Pour the water in a pan and add the turmeric and maple syrup or honey in it. Mix the ingredients together and place the pan on the stove. Then, cook the liquid on a medium heat for five minutes and slowly add the gelatin powder. Whisk continuously until the gelatin is completely liquefied in the blend.
Once the gelatin is dissolved take the mixture off the heat and pour it in a silicon bears shaped mold (you can use any silicon molds you have at home). Leave the gummy bears to cool down and place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. Store them in an airtight container for to 2 weeks maximum.
