Cocoa, on the other hand contains more than 300 chemicals that have a positive impact on health. The scientists who conducted the study were trying to find out exactly how dark chocolate affects the mental energy, and therefore they engaged volunteers who daily drank one of the following four drinks: coffee with cocoa, coffee without cocoa, coffee without caffeine and nether coffee or cocoa.
It turned out that subjects who drank beverages with cocoa quickly responded and gave more correct answers. And with that, they were less anxious than those who consumed pure caffeine.
