Here’s what you need to do: Take one small candle and rub it on the fabric, until you get a thick wax layer on the exterior of the shoe. Then, take a hairdresser and turn on the highest heat option. Heat the layer of wax until it melts completely. Then, leave your shoes aside to cool down. And that’s it, now you have your water-proof shoes!
2. Brush The Snow
If fresh snow is causing you problems on your pavement, don’t use a shovel, as you usually do. Instead, use a broom and brush off the snow. This requires much less effort, doesn’t it?

Just add a little more water. Then, take an ice mold and fill it with the mixture. Press it nicely, so that you fill every gap. Put the ice mold in the freezer and leave it for a couple of hours, or until the mixture thickens and becomes solid. Then, the next time you’re about to take a shower, take one square of the shower remedy and put it on the soap holder. Melt it a bit with warm water. Hop in the shower. The Vicks steam will significantly improve your symptoms.
