2. It contains High Fructose Corn Syrup
High fructose corn syrup is usually made out of genetically modified corn and it is cheaper than the regular sugar. 4. It Contains Sorbic Acid
Sorbic acid, or otherwise known as potassium sorbate, is a compound commonly used as a food preservative. It’s also used for the prevention of fungi and mold. Excessive consumption of this compound can cause diarrhea and malabsorption of nutrients. Moreover, sorbic acid is toxic for the white blood cells, can weaken the immune system and lead to the development of autoimmune diseases.

Whenever you put this sauce in a dish, it dominates the taste. All other flavors remain irrelevant. Also, the taste of mayo is retained in the mouth for a long time after the last bite, which can sometimes give you a bad breath. Hence, if you want to enjoy the taste of a perfectly cooked meal, avoid adding mayo in it.
